Lateral Flow Device Testing Information

As part of the current Government guidance, Esher High School are now able to provide Lateral Flow Device testing for students and staff.  If your child is attending school as a Critical Worker or Vulnerable student, it is advisable they have a Lateral Flow Test on their first day of attending and then 3-5 days later.  Having read the Privacy Policy below, you will need to complete a consent form for your child to take part in the testing.

With all students returning to school from week commencing Monday 8 March, students will be offered 3 lateral flow tests in the first 2 weeks of returning.  The first test will be on their first day of return.  After this, students will be provided with tests to do at home, under parental supervision.  You must report the results of your child's tests to both the NHS  here and to the school here.

The link to the parental consent form is here.  Please complete the form as soon as possible, to ensure your child is able to take a test as soon as they return to school.

Further information is available below should you have any questions.

If you would like to take advantage of the LFD home tests for parents and families of students at school, please note these are not available through Esher High School.  You can find out how to obtain the symptom free tests via Surrey County Council, using this  link.

This page will be updated as more information becomes available from the government, please do keep checking back.
