GCSE Examinations Summer 2023
The timetables for the Summer 2023 exam season have now been released and exams are to revert to pre-pandemic conditions for Summer 2023. GCSE exams will commence on Monday 15 May with the final day of exams being Friday 23 June. The timetable for these exams is included below.
There are contingency dates built into the timetable in the event of any major disruption to the exams system affecting significant numbers of candidates, you should ensure to keep these days free to ensure you are available if your exam/s are rescheduled. These are timetabled for the afternoons of Thursday 8 June and Thursday 15 June and for the period up to and including Wednesday 28 June.
Information for Candidates (IFC)
The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) is a membership organisation for awarding bodies. On behalf of the awarding bodies, it provides the regulations under which exams are administered. As part of our obligations under the regulations, the JCQ requires us to share the IFC documents with all candidates. You can view all of the documents below.
Results will be released on Thursday 24 August; more information can be found in the guidance document below.
If you have any questions or enquires about your exams you should contact the Exams Officer, Mrs Cain or Assistant Headteacher, Miss Turner.
