We have a thriving performing arts department, where students can participate in drama and music related activities.  

In addition, Esher High School offers students the opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument, through lessons with visiting tutors.   All instrumental teachers are fully DBS checked before working in the school.

We have an unbelievable selection of lessons currently available in the following instruments:

• Guitar – acoustic and electric
• Ukulele
• Bass Guitar
• Violin
• Piano
• Singing
• Drum
• Trumpet
• Tuba
• Trombone
• Cornet
• LAMDA (Acting and Drama)

Lessons take place during the school day on a rotating timetable so that you do not miss the same lessons each week, and are offered on a termly basis.

Prices vary depending on the length of lessons you choose (20 minutes, 30 minutes etc) and whether you have them on your own, or in a group. 

Prices for 2025/2026 are:

• £160 for Individual 20 minute lessons
• £230 for 30 minute weekly individual lessons
• £125 for 30 minute paired lesson (not available for drum lessons)
• £20 for Individual LAMDA lessons, £10 Paired LAMDA lessons, £6.50 LAMDA Group lessons
