Wellbeing & Mental Health Support

Our Approach
We believe good mental health is the foundation for a happy and successful life. Wellbeing is central to our ethos, shaping policies and daily practices. We aim to build resilience in students and staff by fostering a safe, inclusive, and challenging environment where it's okay not to be okay.

Key Elements

  • Tutor Programme: Daily check-ins and discussions on teenage life
  • PSHE Lessons: Topics like relationships, choices, and emotional wellbeing
  • Assemblies: Whole-school and year group sessions with guest speakers
  • Enrichment Activities: Music, drama, sports, trips, and Duke of Edinburgh from Year 10

Mental Health Promotion
We actively promote mental health awareness through national campaigns and maintain an open, supportive culture.
