Teaching Assistant

25 hours a week, term time only (37.6 weeks), Monday – Friday 9.05am – 3pm. 

Salary PS3: £9,882 – £10,410


Do you have a desire work as part of a team supporting young people in our school? 

We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work with an enthusiastic team of teachers and support staff, providing assistance to students with special needs, enabling them to achieve maximum access to the national curriculum and to integrate as fully as possible in the activities generally undertaken by students at the school. 

This is your opportunity to have a real impact on the educational outcomes of our students.  You will be working in class, supporting key students to access the curriculum, as well as ensuring that the well-being, behaviour and personal development of students enhances their learning opportunities and life skills.

The post is based at Esher C of E High School, a popular oversubscribed school situated in 15 acres of Green Belt Land close to the centre of Esher, however could also involve work at other schools in the Trust. 

Previous experience of working with young people would be an advantage.  A good level of written and spoken English is required, together with numeracy skills. 

This is a term time only post and the school has a two week half term break in the Autumn Term.
