Year 9 Students win trip to WW1 Battlefields

Congratulations to Year 9 Caitlyn Greer and Nathan Jackson for winning the history battlefield competition.

They will spend four days visiting the WW1 battlefields in France and Belgium in March 2019 along with two other pupils from other schools in the country.  Caitlyn sang a song whilst playing the guitar as part of her presentation. Nathan delivered some great ideas on how to reach out to people to remember WW1.  Both displayed great passion and enthusiasm to go and would make great ambassadors for the school. All the participants Harry Buller,  Stevie Chandler-Hough, Sam Dundas and Verity Purdy were fantastic.
