World Book Day 2020
Staff at Esher High School got into the spirit of the day for World Book Day 2020, dressing up as characters from books really displaying their creative abilities. There were many activities to engage with our students; teachers read their favourite books to students and students read extracts out from their own books.
Taylor in Year 8 said, "I enjoyed finding out about new books", while Mrs Sweeney, Year 8 tutor commented, "My form listened to one of the audio books for World Book Day and found it really interesting, discussing what might happen next. It was also a really calming start to the day for them. Great activity!" Mrs Sweeney, Year 8 tutor.
