Exam Timetable

GCSE exams will commence Tuesday 5 May 2026 with the final day of exams being Wednesday 17 June 2026.  Subjects that require practical exams will run in April 2026.  Please check the Summer Exam Timetable for more information when it is published.

Contingency Days

For the Summer 2026 exam series, you are advised that candidates should remain available up to and including Wednesday 24 June 2026 should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan and reschedule an exam (this is determined by the awarding bodies, not the school). 

Information for Candidates (IFC)

The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) is a membership organisation for awarding bodies. On behalf of the awarding bodies, it provides the regulations under which exams are administered.  As part of our obligations under the regulations, the JCQ requires us to share the IFC documents with all candidates.
