EHS Students achieve 2018 District Athletics Success

All the students were a credit to the school and performed outstandingly considering the high calibre of competitors.  The students who achieved a place include;

Charlotte Vaughan: Selected for Surrey championships competing in the 3000m.

Tyler Panton (100m): outstanding performance, raising a lot of interest from all spectators, winning gaining 1st place with a time of 11.3 . Continues to hold the district record.  (200m): comfortably won with a time of 22.7. 

Matthew Shervington (200m): Ran an outstanding race gaining 2nd  Place with a time of 24.7. He also came 2nd place in Javelin 35m80

Jack Matthews: 7th in high Jump 1m45

Charlie Hawkins: 7th in triple jump 10m02

Bailey Smith: 3rd place 5m22

U17 Boys relay team: 2nd overall.

Maddie Moore: 8th place in long jump 3m77

Maddox Holloway: outstanding performance, 2nd place in 100m 12.4 and another outstanding performance; 2nd place 200m 25.7

Kai Rogers: 3rd place in 400m 42.1

Gabriel Foschini: 3rd place in High Jump 1m55

U15 boys relay team: 6th place

Tobi Afilaka: 1st  place in 100m 13.3 secs

Esme Wakefield: 3rd place in 200m 28.8 secs

Lucy Hoseason: 4th place in 1500m 5.30 secs

U15 girls relay team: 6th overall

Holly Hawkes: 2nd place in High Jump 1m40

Tori Gayle-Newton: 7th place in shot 7m53

Megan Shepherd: 8th place in javelin 18m40

Additional congratulations go to Charlotte Vaughan. Tyler Panton. Matthew Shervington, Maddox Holloway, Gabriel Foschini, Tobi Afilaka and Holly Hawkes have qualified to represent Surrey in the Regional Championships in June.
