Inaugural Performing Arts fundraiser a huge hit!

Esher High School has had it first ever fundraiser for the Performing Arts and raised an impressive £1750! Many teachers, parents and friends braved the heat to come out for an evening of live music, dancing, and fun, including loads of raffle prizes and a live auction. The event was arranged by the Performing Arts Parents Parents’ Association (PAPA).

Irene Lee, the event organiser was delighted by the success of the evening “We did it! What a success. I'm so thankful to all those parents and friends who supported me in this venture over the past 9 months. Raising funds of £1,750 is a remarkable achievement and for such a worthy cause. Going forward I am confident the organisation only grow and succeed from this event”.

Ben Allin, head of Performing Arts said, “The Performing Arts department cannot thank the PAPA enough for all their efforts with putting on such a great evening. The students at Esher High will be in direct benefit from all the funds raised to enrich their lived both inside and outside of lessons in Performing Arts.”

Money raised from the event will go to fund various initiatives, chosen by the PA teachers and agreed upon by PAPA.
