Year 10 Citizenship students meet with Andrew Davis

Year 10 Citizenship students arranged and met with Andrew Davis, the local Lib Dem candidate last Wednesday to discuss their campaign to lower the voting age to 16. The girls, Lauren, Saher and Carly lead a discussion about why the voting age should be lowered.  The girls are organising a Newsnight style debate about this topic in October and are have support from Vince Cable and Dominic Raab. Mr Davis said he was extremely impressed at what they had to say and the arguments they put forward.  Mr Davis kindly said he would support the girls with their campaign.  More detail about this event are to follow.
