EHS Students dazzle at the District Athletics 2017

Head of PE Ms Miles, was delighted with all the performances but noted the following students with a special mention;

Charlotte Vaughan (1500m): delivered an exceptional performance winning 1st place with a time of 4 mins 55s. She will be competing at the Surrey Championships this weekend competing in the 3000m.

Tyler Panton (100m): outstanding performance, raising a lot of interest from all spectators, winning 1st place with a time of 11.4 secs smashing the District record held since 1992.

Tyler Panton (300m): comfortably won with a time of 38.8 secs.  Tyler will be competing at the Surrey Championships this weekend, trying his hardest to get a new PB!

Matthew Shervington (200m): Ran an outstanding race winning 1st place with a time of 25.2 secs

Cavell Stayton-Davis (300m): Ran a brilliant race even with a sore hamstring! Cavell gained 6th place in the final with a time of 43.8 secs.

Finn Rogers (800m): 2.21.7 secs who came 4th

U15 Boys Relay Team: Tyler Panton, Cavell Stayton-Davis (Heats), Charlie Hawkins (finals), Ben Talpin and Matthew Shervington: Final 7th place.

U15 Boys Relay team: Finn Rogers, Jamie Humphreys, Josh Bradley and Jack Currie: Final 6th place.

Charlie Hawkins (Long Jump) 4th place 4m 61cm and (Triple Jump) 5th place 9m 89cm
