Year 11 parents inspired to help children with GCSE preparation

Educational Consultant Michele Miller was invited to speak to EHS Year 11 parents about preparing both themselves and their children for the upcoming GCSE's.  Miller covered topics such as communicating with teenagers, obvious revision techniques as well as creating a motivating environment in which students can revise.

One parent smiled on her departure "What an eye-opening session! I never stopped to think that my constant reminding my son to get down to his homework, would simply be perceived as 'nagging'! I will definitely go about it differently in future"
