Leadership/Training

Every school wants to improve and all staff strive to do a better job.   At Esher C of E High School we believe that one of the most effective ways of bringing about sustained improvement is through School to School support.  We know and have experienced the benefits of working with other schools in supporting our journey  from being judged as just ‘Satisfactory’ Ofsted 2002 , ‘Good’ in 2006 and ‘Outstanding’ in 2009.  We continue to benefit enormously from working with schools and find it the most powerful way of moving Esher C of E High School forward.

Our Professional Training Opportunities programme has, at its heart, the core purpose of teaching and learning.  At Esher C of E High School we believe that leadership – at all levels – is a key factor in enabling continual progression for all our students, raising standards of teaching and learning and providing sustained improvement across the school.

In offering training we aim to meet the needs of educators from all phases by sharing approaches developed by ourselves, schools and other agencies, which have been found to transform student experiences in the current educational climate.

At Esher C of E High School we have our own ‘Stepping Stones’ middle and senior leadership courses which have developed with our partner schools from Esher, Cobham and Molesey.

Our courses, seminars and conferences can be tailored to meet your specific requirements so please contact us and we will be happy to discuss options with you as we aim to provide high quality and effective support to meet your professional needs.

To book a place or find out more information on any of these courses please contact us on amorgan@esherhigh.surrey.sch.uk or call us on 01372 468068 ext 211.
